Bus eireann commences new daily bus services to Ireland West Airport Knock serving towns on the Derry-Sligo-Galway Route 64

Ireland West Airport Knock are delighted to announce the introduction of new daily bus services to Ireland West Airport Knock with Bus Eireann connecting towns on the Derry-Sligo-Galway route 64 with Ireland West Airport Knock.

The new services which started on Sunday 31st January Bus Eireann will operate 14 new coach services on the Derry-Sligo-Galway and Galway-Sligo-Derry route 64 servicing all towns and villages on the routes and Ireland West Airport Knock.

These new services will be a welcome boost to people in these regions and will provide essential access between towns in the wider catchment and Ireland West Airport Knock.

Commenting on this news, Joe Gilmore, Managing Director, Ireland West Airport Knock said: “We are delighted to welcome the introduction of these new bus services with Bus Eireann  People from as far as Donegal, Letterkenny, Ballyshannon and Galway use this airport on a regular basis and they will now have the option of using one of 14 daily services on the Derry–Sligo-Galway, Galway-Sligo-Derry route which will offer great flexibility for passengers travelling on the 20+ destinations to the UK and Europe offered by the airport.  These new services will be the bridge for people travelling to and from the UK on our 9 routes from Birmingham, Bristol, East-Midlands, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds – Bradford, London Stansted, London Luton and London Gatwick and will offer great connectivity to the West and North West regions   We thank Bus Eireann for their commitment to the airport and look forward to working with them to ensure the new services prove to be a huge success’
