New bus services to Ireland West Airport Knock to offer greater connectivity for people living in the Mayo, Midlands and Roscommon region

Ireland West Airport Knock are delighted to announce the introduction of additional new bus services to and from Ireland West Airport Knock with Bus Eireann on the Westport-Castlebar-Athlone route 21 service as well as a new morning service from Ballina.and addttional frequencies on the Westport & Castlebar services to the airport.

In a major boost for people living in the Midlands region two new services have being introduced connecting Athlone and towns in the Midlands and Roscommon region with Ireland West Airport Knock with services from Athlone Bus Station departing each day from Monday to Saturday at 11:20am and 16:30pm servicing Kiltoom, Knockroghery, Ballymurray, Roscommon Town, Ballymoe, Castelrea, Ballinlough, Ballyhaunis, and Ireland West Airport Knock.  Services on Sunday depart Athlone Bus Station at 10:10am and 13:05pm respectively.

Return services depart from Ireland West Airport Knock at 08:25am and 13:40pm from Monday to Saturday calling at the above towns with one service on Sunday departing from Ireland West Airport Knock at 15:25pm.

In addition the Airport is delighted to welcome the introduction of a new daily morning service from Ballina to Ireland West Airport Knock.  The new service departs Ballina Bus Station at 08:15am each morning from Monday to Saturday calling at Foxford, Swinford and Charlestown.  The return service departs Ireland West Airport Knock at 12:15pm each day calling at the above towns also.  With the new frequencies announced on the Westport-Castlebar-Athlone service there will now be a total of 5 services between Westport/Castlebar and the airport (mon to sat) and two on Sundays offering great connectivity for people in these parts of Mayo.
