Making a complaint about a taxi fare

In the event of a dispute about a fare, driver conduct, condition or cleanliness of a vehicle, a customer should pay the fare quoted before the journey starts, including extras, ensure they get a printed receipt and proceed to make a formal complaint which will be investigated by the Commission for Taxi Regulation as appropriate.

Ireland West Airport is conveniently located on the main N17 North – South road, halfway between Galway and Sligo.  Driving in Ireland is on the left hand side, and speed limits vary. All distances and speed limits use the Metric system (kilometres).

If you are setting down passengers at the airport, there is a designated set-down area outside the terminal entrance. Waiting here is not permitted. If you are meeting someone from a flight we advise you to park in the car park, as waiting at the set-down area is not permitted.
