bmibaby to cease operations from Ireland West Airport Knock

Ireland West Airport wish to inform that we have been advised by bmibaby that following the sale of bmi to International Airlines Group (IAG), they have now started a consultation period with their staff to review future options for the bmibaby business.

As result of this process bmibaby have advised the airport that they will terminate their Birmingham to Ireland West Airport Knock permanently from Sunday June 10th next 2012.
Passengers are advised that all bookings up until the 10th of June 2012 are valid and the flight schedule will operate as per normal until this date.

No further flights with bmibaby will operate after June 10th 2012.  bmibaby has assured the airport that customers affected by these cancellations will be offered a full refund.  You do not need to contact bmibaby to ask for a refund as it will be arranged automatically. Please allow up to 21 working days for this refund to be processed.
